RegalCare at Lowell is a short-term and long‑term care facility located in Lowell, MA. We are looking to hire an Activities Director. This is a full‑time position. Previous SNF/LTC experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities and programs designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
Lead group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music therapy sessions, and exercise classes.
Provide one‑on‑one support and encouragement to residents who may require additional assistance or accommodations.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
Document activity participation and resident progress as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
