About the Role
We are seeking a
Client Partner
to lead business growth and strengthen executive relationships within the
Oil, Gas & Energy (O&G&E)
sector for our North American business. Based in
Houston , this role is pivotal in driving strategic engagement with major Energy clients, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across complex global engagements.
The ideal candidate will combine
deep Energy industry knowledge
with strong
technology consulting and account leadership experience , particularly across upstream, midstream, downstream, and renewable segments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
Serve as the
trusted advisor and primary executive contact
for key O&G&E clients.
Build and sustain
CXO-level relationships
with business and technology leaders.
Translate client business priorities into actionable digital and technology roadmaps.
Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership value.
Own full
P&L responsibility
for assigned accounts and achieve annual growth targets.
Identify and close
new business opportunities
across application, infrastructure, cloud, data, and digital engineering services.
Collaborate with presales, marketing, and alliance teams to drive pipeline and pursuit strategies.
Manage large, multi-year outsourcing, managed services, and transformation deals.
Delivery & Execution Oversight
Partner closely with delivery leadership to ensure
excellence in execution and client outcomes .
Proactively manage performance metrics, SLAs, and financial governance.
Oversee contract renewals, scope expansions, and commercial negotiations.
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
Bring industry insights on
energy transition, decarbonization, digital oilfield, and sustainability
trends.
Represent the organization at
Houston-based Energy forums and events , strengthening market presence.
Partner with solution and marketing teams to co‑create
industry‑specific digital offerings
and go‑to‑market assets.
Required Skills & Experience
12–18 years
of experience in IT services, consulting, or technology sales.
Minimum
8 years
in client‑facing account or partner roles within the
Oil, Gas & Energy
sector.
Proven success in managing large enterprise accounts (>$25M annual revenue).
Strong understanding of Energy industry operations— Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and Renewables .
Familiarity with
ERP’s, Cloud, IoT, Data & Analytics, AI/ML, and Engineering
solutions for Energy transformation.
Executive presence and ability to engage confidently with
CIOs, COOs, and Business Unit Heads .
Bachelor’s degree required;
MBA or equivalent preferred .
