Director of Rehab (DOR) In House (Key West FL)

Director of Rehab (DOR) In House (Key West FL) Director of Rehabilitation (PTA or OTA) for an in‑house skilled nursing facility (relocation bonus offered). Responsible for all aspects of therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of the company under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

Provide the best possible therapy services to patients consistent with standards of practice and company procedures.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility(s).

Adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including HIPAA and resident rights.

Establish facility-specific procedures with the interdisciplinary team and train all therapy staff.

Ensure documentation and billing of therapy services comply with regulatory and company standards.

Communicate professionally with patients and family members and attend to their requests.

Perform any other duties as assigned to effectively discharge responsibilities of the position.

Education & Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology.

Active licensure (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in at least one state of practice.

Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal leadership and communication skills.

Results‑oriented with strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
