LVPN Program RN Instructor – Part‑time (24+ hrs, 3 days/week) We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a part‑time instructor for the LVPN Program. The instructor will develop and deliver high‑quality instruction in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Organize and deliver clear course objectives in the classroom and labs.
Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
Prepare and maintain training aids, tools, and equipment.
Update curriculum to reflect current industry standards.
Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
Provide constructive feedback to help students achieve academic and professional success.
Identify at‑risk students and develop individualized success plans.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students and faculty.
Provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on diagnostics and equipment operation.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
At least four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
Unencumbered California Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong clinical instruction skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Commitment to continuing professional development.
Salary $52.00 per hour.
