Overview Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. If you have an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we would love to connect with you! What You Will Do Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. Use state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are Minimum of 2 years paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken). Passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation and committed to enhancing our brand by delighting customers. Excellent customer service skills and excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. What You Need Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Compensation Expected base pay ranges by location: Bay Area, California: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. Southern California: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. Colorado: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour. Hawaii: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. Illinois: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour. Maryland: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour. Massachusetts: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. Minnesota: $24.80 - $30.30 per hour. New Jersey: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. New York: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour. Ohio: $24.80 - $30.30 per hour. Vermont: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour. Washington: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour.
