AP Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist to help lead their ERP system upgrade and ensure smooth, compliant financial operations. The ideal candidate thrives on accuracy, takes ownership of their work, and can independently manage complex AP processes while quickly mastering new systems. Strong note-taking, focus during training, and the ability to apply instructions with precision are key to success in this role.
This role is fully onsite in Vancouver, Washington.
Responsibilities
Lead and perform full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and approvals.
Track and reconcile vendor activity, reimbursements, and purchase orders.
Record and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws and accurate vendor documentation.
Support ERP system transition by maintaining clean data and improving AP workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; candidates without a degree must have 5 or more years in full-process Accounts Payable experience, including 3‑way match.
Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft GP, Dynamics AX, or D365 strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and learn quickly.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
Compensation $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
