$82,316.52 – $118,731.08 annually (DOE)
Job Summary Project Directors are responsible for simultaneously managing and directing multiple claims/jobs. They direct lead technicians and superintendents in the production phase of jobs via work orders, report directly to the Regional Director, and interface with other departments as required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple large‑scope projects simultaneously from beginning to completion.
Develop estimates for construction and mitigation projects.
Review and approve time and material billing, ensuring all billable job costs are captured.
Maintain business contacts and source new business to generate work.
Prepare work orders for scheduling, ensuring accuracy and detail.
Conduct thorough inspections of jobs and recommend further work to adjusters or clients.
Track project plans and adjust as needed to stay on schedule and meet contract deadlines.
Review all documents and customer invoices to ensure timely payment.
Communicate frequently and effectively with adjusters, customers, co‑workers, and contractors.
Market company services to adjusters and potential clients.
Collaborate with Account Executives to prepare bids.
Perform loss site inspections to prepare bids.
Support the company’s safe workplace policies and promote adherence.
Experience / Requirements
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
Proven experience managing large commercial mitigation and construction projects.
Extensive knowledge of construction estimating.
Well‑versed in time & material billing concepts.
Experience marketing services to generate new or existing business.
Knowledge of basic safety standards and work practices.
Leadership skills, effective delegation, and strong communication.
Industry certifications (desired).
Completion or in‑process completion of IICRC training.
Excellent time‑management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Xactimate required.
Understanding of cost containment and risk management basics.
OSHA 10 certification (desired).
Good judgment under pressure.
Experience in coaching and training.
Safety Requirements
Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
Required PPE: gloves, masks, goggles, hard hats, safety footwear.
Complete a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test.
Understand hazards: vibration, falls, extreme temperatures, high noise.
Handle chemicals (solvents, adhesives, paints) safely.
Recognize biological hazards (mold, bacteria).
Complete mandatory safety training (hazard communication, emergency response).
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Know emergency procedures and evacuation routes.
Physical Requirements
Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, climbing, squatting, crawling.
Sitting and standing for prolonged periods, alternating between the two.
Continuous repetitive motions (typing, data entry).
Operate machinery and tools as required.
Clear vision for close work and computer use.
Working Conditions Office Environment
Indoor setting with standard office equipment.
Regular meetings (in‑person or virtual). Collaboration with team members.
Field Environment
Outdoor work at restoration sites (residential, commercial, industrial).
Exposure to weather conditions: sun, rain, snow, heat.
Hazardous Environments
Potential exposure to hazardous materials and chemicals.
Work after hours and weekends required due to 24/7 operations.
Travel Requirements
Travel to job sites using company or personal vehicles.
Attend out‑of‑town trainings, meetings, or conferences as needed.
