Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The Role

This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Travel requirements: N/A.

FLSA Status: Exempt.

Shift: 1st.

What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.

Oversee supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Ag team, Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance and other internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

Manage procurement budget and drive cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.

Monitor market conditions and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Manage procurement systems and reporting tools for optimization.

Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For Required Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of contract law and vendor management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in procurement, including 5+ years in a leadership role within manufacturing (food industry preferred).

Proven track record of building strong supplier relationships and delivering cost savings.

Experience in ERP systems and procurement analytics tools.

Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

Experience in procurement in food industry.

Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance within food manufacturing.

Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).

Physical Demands

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with frequent interruptions.

Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.

Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.

Hours & Workdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday onsite, when business requires before/after hours will be mandatory.
