Responsibilities
Work directly with the design team from concept design through construction for cultural, hospitality and mixed-use projects with complex programs
Provider leadership and supervise the work performed by junior architects
Translate and enrich design concepts through technical strategies, fabrication techniques and details
Prepare and coordinate Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents packages
Lead meetings with consultant team, executive architect (Architect of Record), and contractor
Oversee construction administration and review submittals to ensure project execution meets design intent
Establish and manage project work flow, schedule, and budget
Develop and maintain Office Standards for Project Documentation and Delivery
Qualifications
Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited university (M-Arch a plus)
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional architectural office (US licensure a plus)
Experienced in REVIT, Auto-CAD etc. with fluency in complex 3D modeling integration
Working knowledge of major building systems (experience in mass timber construction a plus)
Good understanding of building materials, specifications, building codes, details and construction practices
Clear and effective communication skills with consultants and client
Strong organization and administration skills for the daily operations of a professional office
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a creative team
Aptitude for professional growth in an emerging design practice
Passion for contemporary arts and design
Interest in international travels, appreciates cultural diversity and nature environment
