Position Description UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recruiting faculty for the Division of Allergy, Immunology, Bone Marrow Transplantation in the Department of Pediatrics. Positions are offered at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, or In Residence faculty series with a focus on bone marrow transplant. Selected candidates will join an established academic medical center and fellowship training program, may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses, and will actively contribute to the Department’s mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Medical degree and license

Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics

Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology–Oncology and/or Allergy and Immunology

Preferred Qualifications

Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork

Strong interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics

Experience supervising residents and medical students in clinical settings

Salary Positions with 51% effort or more: minimum base salary $114,100–$344,400. Positions with 50% effort or less: minimum base salary $81,500–$246,000. All appointments are subject to UC salary scales and health sciences compensation plan eligibility.
