Job Summary The Vice President (VP) of IT Systems is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, implementation, and maintenance of all enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure. This executive-level role ensures that the company’s IT systems align with business objectives, support operational efficiency, maintain security and compliance, and scale with the organization’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and execution of all IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.
Oversee system architecture, cloud strategy, data centers, networks, enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.), and cybersecurity.
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems to meet business needs.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement technology solutions that support business goals.
Manage system integration efforts across various platforms and departments.
Lead IT governance, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Establish and monitor IT policies, procedures, SLAs, and performance metrics.
Supervise and develop IT systems teams, including infrastructure, application, and support staff.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and IT budgets.
Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive role.
Proven experience managing enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, GDPR), and data governance.
Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise-level platforms.
Effective leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to align IT strategy with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
