Position Summary The Director of Sales will be leading SPI’s business development initiatives across domestic markets while supporting strategic international growth.

This position is ideal for an experienced, relationship-driven sales professional with a proven record of success in oilfield services. The Director of Sales will develop new accounts, expand existing relationships, and lead a results-oriented sales team aligned with SPI’s operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional and national sales strategies to expand SPI’s footprint in domestic and international markets.

Drive new business and strengthen existing relationships with E&P operators, drilling contractors, and service companies.

Promote SPI’s full portfolio of solutions, including tubular management, rental tools, completions, drilling, power equipment, torque/turn, debris management, and Well Life services.

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve defined performance goals and customer satisfaction standards.

Partner with operations and technical groups to ensure reliable, customer-focused service delivery.

Negotiate and manage contracts, MSAs, and pricing agreements in collaboration with executive leadership.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to proactively adjust strategies.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for management review.

Represent SPI at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, reinforcing the company’s reputation for quality and dependability.

Ensure all business development and sales activities align with company policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of sales or business development experience in oil & gas services (tubulars, rentals, completions, drilling, torque/turn, debris management, or related).

Proven record of success in developing new business and maintaining key accounts.

Strong Houston‑area network within operators, drilling contractors, and service providers.

Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities within a sales team environment.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Solid understanding of contract negotiation, MSA management, and commercial pricing.

Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
