Los Alamos National Laboratory .
Job Details
Per Diem:
Available for those who qualify.
Citizenship:
United States citizenship required.
Work Location:
On‑site, TA‑55. Occasional driving between the site and town may be required.
Schedule:
4/10s with potential for other schedules. Shift work options available for field engineers. 6‑week rotations for weekends/nights.
Clearance:
Q‑clearance or ability to obtain.
Summary Entry‑level professional work. Provides support to more experienced construction engineering personnel by performing routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Assigned to a discipline position within the Construction Management Division in an administrative or technical capacity. Completes assigned tasks under routine supervision and technical directions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Software: Fluent in Microsoft 365 or office‑based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and ability to learn internal LANL tools.
Ability to work with all levels of project support and leadership.
Desired Qualifications
Pressure testing or related certifications
Skilled problem solvers
Vast electrical background
Experience with glovebox systems
Familiarity with manufacturing
NQA‑1 experience
Construction experience
Experience with facility‑based mechanical systems
DoD and Navy, DoE, Pharma, Regulatory, Oil/Gas/Commercial buildings experience
