Construction Engineer 2
opportunity in
Los Alamos, NM , to support the
Los Alamos National Laboratory .
Per Diem Available For Those Who Qualify
Citizenship:
United States Citizenship is required
Work Location:
On‑Site, TA‑55, occasional driving between the site and town may be required.
Schedule:
4/10s with potential for other schedules. Shift work options available for field engineers. 6 week rotations for weekends/nights.
Clearance:
Q‑clearance or the ability to obtain.
Summary Provides support to more experienced construction engineering personnel by performing routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Assigned to a discipline position within the Construction Management Division in an administrative or technical capacity. Completes assigned tasks under routine supervision and technical directions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in engineering disciplines, and/or 5 years of actual work experience, and certifications leading to the thorough understanding of the knowledge described above.
Software: Fluent in MS365 or office‑based products (Excel, PP, Word, Outlook), MS Teams is essential, and some internal LANL tools will need to be used.

Vast electrical background
Experience with glovebox systems
Familiarity with manufacturing
NQA1 experience
Construction experience
Experience with facility‑based mechanical systems
DoD and Navy, DoE, Pharma, Regulatory, Oil/Gas/Commercial buildings experience
