Project Engineer 3

opportunity in

Los Alamos, NM , to support Los Alamos National Laboratory. Per diem available for those who qualify. Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required. Work Location: On-Site, TA-55, occasional driving between the site and town may be required. Schedule: 4/10s with potential for other schedules. Shift work options available for field engineers. 6 week rotations for weekends/nights. Clearance: Q-clearance or the ability to obtain. Responsibilities

Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project. Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project. Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university Specialized courses in relevant general engineering, architectural design, or an appropriate engineering discipline, and progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering; may include other relevant types of engineering, including startup, field engineering, or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering/construction firms Software: Fluent in Microsoft 365 or office-based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and ability to learn internal LANL tools Ability to work with all levels of project support and leadership Desired Qualifications

Skilled problem solvers Vast electrical background Experience with glovebox systems Familiarity with manufacturing NQA-1 experience Construction experience Experience with facility-based mechanical systems DoD and Navy, DoE, Pharma, Regulatory, Oil/Gas/Commercial buildings experience Company and Benefits
