Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative.
Starting base pay is $28.13/hour with uncapped bonus plan available to you in addition to your base pay. Variable compensation is roughly $2,000 per month but can vary and could be up to $7,000 or higher. Variable compensation will grow as we expand business in multiple states.
Compensation Position Compensation Range: $28.13 - $35.09 per hour.
Pay Rate Type: Hourly.
Location-based compensation may vary. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Location & Schedule In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home, proximate to Denver, CO. On occasion you may be asked to travel to the office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
Training will be approximately 2 months. Hours for training are 8:30am to 5:00pm local time. There is no time off during training.
After training, new hire shifts will be evening shifts ending at 8:00pm local time Monday through Friday and ending at 5:00pm local time on Saturdays. There is a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation. All new hires will work a 9-hour Monday with a 7-hour shift later in the week.
Primary Accountabilities
Quote and sell any or all of the following insurance products: automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email to prospective clients.
Attend required training, ongoing training, meetings, one-on-ones, and continued education requirements to maintain active property casualty producer's license.
Demonstrate advantages of our products, services, and benefits while also overcoming objections to purchase.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Experience maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes to clients.
Experience prioritizing sales opportunities based on ICP across multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
Explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
Qualifications You must currently have an active Property and Casualty Producers License or Personal Lines License to be considered for this role.
Licenses
You must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines. American Family Insurance will pay to maintain your licenses after hire along with all CE requirements.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10%.
Physical Requirements
Work primarily involves sitting/standing.
