Sr. Sales Application Engineer
We’re seeking a Sr. Sales Application Engineer for a high‑visibility role that blends technical expertise with customer‑facing responsibilities. This position requires strong mechanical engineering knowledge—especially in thermal and fluid sciences—and offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects from concept through delivery.
Role Overview You will serve as the single point of contact for customers, from gathering requirements to developing designs, generating proposals, and managing orders through in‑house fabrication. This role requires balancing performance, cost, and design trade‑offs while working closely with design, manufacturing, and materials teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with existing and new customers, providing designs, quotations, and ongoing support.
Develop new business by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
Oversee designs from concept to delivery, coordinating with SolidWorks designers, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Collaborate with the Sales & Engineering team to share workload and expertise.
Travel 6–8 times per year (1–3 days per trip).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 years or more of professional experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or a similar industry with an emphasis in the industrial vertical.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑motivated and passionate about engineering, sales, and building relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a small or mid‑sized company environment.
Project management background.
ASME Code Design, Experience using HTRI.
Air Coolers / Air Cooled Heat Changers.
Familiarity with heat exchangers.
Ability to work in the industrial vertical of the company is highly desired.
