Tree Care Business Developer – BrightView Landscapes We’re looking for a Tree Care Services Business Developer to manage the tree care services pipeline from prospecting to closing. You will collaborate with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

Sell and estimate Tree Care Services work in regional territories.

Perform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques.

Work with Landscape Maintenance Account Managers and Branch Manager to develop Tree Care programs and estimates for existing clients.

Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, web‑ex demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision.

Network to increase penetration for new tree care services accounts.

Achieve tree care services sales goals independently.

Log activity consistently in Salesforce.

Collaborate with internal resources to drive larger sales opportunities.

Build and maintain professional relationships with key decision makers.

Operate in a fast‑paced, high‑urgency environment.

Communicate proactively with all decision makers and influencers.

Plan daily, hit activity benchmarks, and close business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Appropriate Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA or Certified Arborist).

Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable.

Extensive B2B selling experience at mid‑to‑senior levels.

Experience managing multiple projects and multitasking in a large territory.

Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Experience with a CRM or SFA tool beneficial.

Proven track record of sales goal attainment in longer selling‑cycle environments.

Highly competitive, results‑driven salesperson.

Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

Self‑motivated and self‑directed.

Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred.

Compensation Salary range: $78,000–$105,000 annually. Additional variable compensation may be available.
