This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.
Role Summary You will oversee multiple capital renovation and redevelopment projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires strong stakeholder management, site supervision, and project coordination to deliver successful outcomes for residential or senior housing developments.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day on-site project activities across multiple renovation or redevelopment projects.
Serve as the main point of contact for all construction and renovation activities.
Lead project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to review progress, risks, and schedules.
Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and scope of work.
Supervise contractor performance and address technical or operational issues.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Lead project kick‑off meetings and final inspections, ensuring all close‑out documentation is complete.
Prepare and maintain project reports, schedules, invoices, and change order documentation.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and scope new redevelopment initiatives.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring minimal impact on operations or residents.
Requirements – Must‑haves
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
5+ years of project management experience in multi‑family or senior housing construction.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and compliance standards.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Effective communication with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
Willingness to travel as needed for site supervision and inspections.
Nice‑to‑haves (optional)
Experience with redevelopment or capital improvement projects.
Familiarity with project management software and reporting tools.
Knowledge of safety and building code regulations.
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Languages
English B2+, Spanish C1
