Full Time Key Responsibilities Deliver value across multiple aspects of the regional and global Aerospace business platforms. Combine category management with upstream collaboration with the Aerospace Science and Technology (R&D) departments. Act as a key liaison at the intersection of Category Management, S&T Collaboration, new product development, and raw material availability escalation. Own specific raw materials used primarily within Aerospace, including setting and managing contracting strategy, negotiating pricing, ensuring supply assurance, optimizing working capital, and achieving cost savings and single-source reduction targets. Collaborate with other Category Managers whose material areas impact the Aerospace business. Work with various Aerospace S&T groups to drive value and resilience during the formulation stage, including moving from single sourcing to dual sourcing and designing with flexibility in mind. Support plant operations in resolving supplier-related production issues. Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers and sources.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Aerospace coatings procurement preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
