The
Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst
will play a critical role in driving value and resilience across multiple aspects of the regional and global Aerospace business platforms. This role blends
category management ,
strategic sourcing , and
collaboration with R&D (Science & Technology)
to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and innovative raw material supply base for Aerospace coatings and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical or materials background, experience in procurement or supply chain within the aerospace industry, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to align sourcing strategies with product development and operational needs. Responsibilities
Deliver measurable value across regional and global Aerospace business platforms through effective sourcing and supplier management. Manage assigned
raw material categories , including developing and executing
contracting and negotiation strategies
to optimize cost, quality, and supply assurance. Partner closely with
Aerospace Science & Technology (R&D)
teams to enable innovation, ensure formulation flexibility, and support dual-sourcing initiatives. Act as a key liaison between the Aerospace division and broader category management teams to align sourcing strategies across material groups. Drive
working capital efficiency
while achieving cost savings, reducing single-source dependencies, and ensuring material availability. Collaborate with operations and plant teams to
resolve supplier performance or material availability issues , escalating as necessary. Identify and qualify
alternative suppliers and raw material sources
to improve supply chain resilience. Support new product development by aligning sourcing decisions with formulation and production requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 2 years of procurement experience
in aerospace coatings, materials, or related industries preferred. Strong understanding of
category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiation
principles. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and global sourcing teams. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must be a
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident . Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
