Description
Summary of the Position The Material Handler manages incoming materials, inventory, and shipments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, kit pulling, cycle counting, packaging orders, and maintaining organized work areas. The role also supports safety checks, supply monitoring, and final assemblies, with occasional overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, components, and field returns.
Kit components for subassemblies, final assemblies, and engineering builds.
Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Prepares and packages all sales orders, material orders, and returns to vendors.
Completes all necessary documentation for outgoing and incoming shipments.
Completes sales order fulfillment transactions and receiving transactions using NetSuite.
Responsible for coordinating/shipping packages utilizing FedEx, UPS, USPS, or equivalent; as necessary.
Manages inventory of shipping supplies and maintains a neat and orderly shipping and receiving area.
Follows up on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Adheres to approved standard operating procedures and manufacturing procedures.
Transport materials to suppliers or shipping companies as needed.
Monitor and report labor supply usage.
Responsible for final-level assemblies for sterilization and storage.
Available to work overtime as requested by supervisor.
Education and Required Experience
High school degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience in medical devices is preferred.
NetSuite experience is required.
Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environment is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
Ability to utilize basic math skills.
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
Ability to work independently or under little supervision.
Familiarity with Excel.
Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.

Salary Range $65,600 - $84,400 ($31.54/hr - $40.58/hr)*
*Base pay is one part of your total compensation. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to your experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and market alignment. Addition compensation may include bonuses and equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
