Database Administrator

Our broiler breeder brands are among the most recognized and respected in the industry, and each has a proven record of success in addition to a large and loyal global customer base. We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our team and manage the organization's data systems accurately and reliably. This role involves maintaining database performance, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing data efficiency through process development and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data structures, SQL programming, and database management systems, and will be essential in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and availability of our business data. Responsibilities: Install and maintain the performance of database servers. Develop processes for optimizing database security. Set and maintain database standards. Manage database access. Performance tuning of database systems. Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. Recommend and implement emerging database technologies. Create automation for repeating database tasks. Database SME for the Development, Infrastructure, and Analytics teams Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of three years of related experience. Experience in SQL programming and database management. Extensive experience with database technologies particularly MS SQL but some exposure to Ingres, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB advantageous. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of hire and must maintain authorization to work in the U.S. throughout their employment with our company.
