The incumbent works under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, within the Enterprise DevOps Section 1. The ITS I performs a wide range of tasks requiring regular, innovative problem solving within broadly defined guidelines. The role supports multiple program areas within System Engineering, focusing on analysis, development, documentation, and implementation of software solutions that align with CDPH Enterprise standards. It involves researching, configuring, and testing software to deliver cost-effective, integrated solutions that enhance CDPH operations. Strong understanding of SDLC and ability to manage IT project priorities in a multi-platform environment is essential. The ITS I works with low-code/no-code platforms, workflow automation, content management systems, and has capabilities in Windows and Linux, source control, CI/CD, and collaborative development best practices. Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and tools is required to support incident, change, and problem-management processes. Travel approximately 5% to Richmond, CA. Desirable Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with low-code or no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform with workflow automation. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins; strong skills in source control, CI/CD, and collaborative development. Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and SQL; strong foundation in Windows and Linux environments, including command-line, scripting, and troubleshooting. Ability to improve standards through SOP documentation, map workflows, define standards, write concise instructions, test and gather feedback, and keep SOPs current. Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and customizing with cross-functional teams for public health applications. Qualifications And SOQ
