The Information Systems Division works in collaboration with programs and county agencies, to provide solutions to systems that assist families access essentials such as, but not limited to, medical services, care providers, groceries, and transportation.
The ITS I report to the Innovative Technology Solutions Branch (ITSB) IT Manager I. The Salesforce Product Architect is assigned to create, maintain and manage all IT architecture models and their related components about the Facility Management System (FMS) and its interconnected external and internal IT systems. The incumbent should have familiarity with State-level policies and procedures relating to the acquisition of statewide IT and goods and services. The ITS I assist the ITS II System Architect in developing the State Hub architecture in conjunction with ISD IT leadership and selecting appropriate technologies. The ITS I primary duties lie within the Software Engineering and project management domains.
As the Salesforce Product Architect, assist in the creation, maintenance and management of all IT architecture models and all of its related components as they pertain to the Facility Management System (FMS) and its interconnected external and internal IT systems. The ITS I assists in the coordination of Enterprise Architecture efforts to evaluate the existing architecture and participate in planning of technical solution and proposed architecture. The incumbent is responsible for the end‑to‑end FMS product creation, discovering and defining the problem, and collaborating with business analysts, developers, vendors, and product owner to design the solution. Assist in the engagement of resources to create and review technical documentation, such as reference architecture diagrams, run‑books, user guides, training manuals and system specifications.
Participates in Sprint planning activities, working closely with vendor for product design, workflow design, validation of technical requirements and collaborate with vendor, business and IT teams. Participate and help facilitate the technical design sessions to aid product creation. Works with the Systems Architect to manage the change control processes and track "Change Management" within the organization. Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and administering action plans to manage change management. In conjunction with the ITS II System Architect, coordinates the communication efforts to keep the stakeholders informed about risks and issues.
Supports and assists as the Project Liaison responsible for communication between various external organizations, programs and business unit to understand the existing integrations, and analyzing and reviewing the proposed changes. Communicate effectively with control agencies and assist in creation and validation of project deliverables documents, Contract deliverables, business/solution requirements, and other relevant project coordination activities.
