Enterprise Architect
BJC Health Care is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri regions. The Enterprise Architect develops strategies and requirements to ensure the integrity of the domain-specific architecture. The Enterprise Architect is committed to developing long-term domain-specific roadmaps, assuring that technology solutions meet business requirements, while aligning with long-term architectural goals and integrating seamlessly across multiple platforms and systems. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate effectively with technology teams for planning and problem solving efforts. The Enterprise Architect: Collaborates to develop current state, future state architectures and implementation plans. Mentors solution architects in architecture development and execution of architecture processes. Reviews proposed architectures and provides guidance for mitigation of critical issues. Researches and collaborates with teams to identify relevant technology change drivers and opportunities that will impact the enterprise environment. Leads and mentors enterprise proof-of-concept efforts to insure alignment with business requirements and key principles. Develops technology roadmaps which have organizational support and commitment. Develops enterprise and domain reference architectures and processes to provide technical guidance. Collaborates with technical teams and SMEs in the development, maintenance and publication of technology standards. Actively identifies and engages in efforts to assist with process guidance and information evaluation.
