Title & Escrow Treasury Assistant
Golden Dog Title & Trust is seeking a Title & Escrow Treasury Assistant. This role will support the Accounting Team in managing treasury functions related to title & escrow operations and accounts payable duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in initiating wire transfers and other treasury transactions.
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Review invoices for accuracy and approval in accordance with company policies.
Prepare and process payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to treasury and accounts payable functions.
Assist in maintaining documentation and records for audit purposes.
Provide administrative support to the Treasury Manager and accounting team as needed.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks to support departmental goals and initiatives.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in escrow treasury operations and/or accounts payable functions is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
SoftPro experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is desirable.
