Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - P&C - Base Pay Bonus
Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative. Starting base pay is $28.13/hour with an uncapped bonus plan available. Average variable compensation is roughly $2,000 per month, though it can vary and may reach $7,000 or higher as the business expands across multiple states.

Base Pay: $28.13 – $35.09 per hour (Hourly)
Variable Compensation: Approx. $2,000 per month, potentially up to $7,000+ based on performance and business growth.
Relocation support offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
Quote and sell automotive, homeowners, and umbrella insurance products.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email to prospective clients.
Attend required and ongoing training, meetings, one‑on‑ones, and continuing education to maintain an active property casualty producer’s license.
Demonstrate advantages of our products, services, and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Maintain an organized and up‑to‑date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes to clients.
Prioritize sales opportunities based on the ideal customer profile across multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
Explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
Training & Scheduling Training will be approximately 2 months, with daily hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm local time. There is no time off during training. After training, new hires will work evening shifts ending at 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, with a 5‑hour shift on Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rotation. All new hires will work a 9‑hour Monday followed by a 7‑hour shift later in the week.
Licenses & Travel
You must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer's License or Personal Lines License.
American Family Insurance will pay to maintain your license after hire, including all continuing education requirements.
Travel: Up to 10% of time may be required for in‑person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
Physical Requirements
Work primarily involves sitting and standing.
Additional Information

Offer contingent on signing a non‑disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions.
