Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative.
Compensation Starting base pay is $28.13/hour with an uncapped bonus plan available. Base pay ranges from $28.13 to $35.09 hourly. Variable compensation averages roughly $2,000 per month, with potential to earn up to $7,000 or higher as the business expands across multiple states.
Compensation may vary based on job level and geographical work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
Quote and sell any or all of the following insurance products: automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales by phone or email to prospective clients.
Attend required training, ongoing training, meetings, one‑on‑ones, and continued education requirements to maintain an active property‑casualty producer's license.
Demonstrate the advantages of our products, services, and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.
Qualifications
Must currently hold an active Property and Casualty Producer’s License or Personal Lines License.
Experience maintaining an organized and up‑to‑date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes to clients.
Experience prioritizing sales opportunities based on ICP on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
American Family Insurance will pay to maintain licenses and all CE requirements after hire.
Work Arrangement Primarily home‑based role: spend 80% of time (4+ days per week) working from home, proximate to Denver, CO. Occasional travel to the office for in‑person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
Training lasts approximately 2 months. Hours for training are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm local time. No time off during training.
After training, new hire shifts are evening shifts ending at 8:00 pm local time Monday through Friday and ending at 5:00 pm local time on Saturdays. 1 in 3 Saturday rotation. All new hires will work a 9‑hour Monday with a 7‑hour shift later in the week.
Travel Requirements
Up to 10%.
