Overview TD is seeking a Retail Banker I located in Saco, Maine. The role is a customer liaison integral to delivering TD’s Brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions/needs. The position supports growth by identifying TD solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD. Responsibilities

Proficient in products, services and routine transactions to identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services or refer them to the appropriate team member or internal bank partners, while ensuring a positive customer experience Maintain a broad knowledge of the full product suite, services and processes of the business area; typically low to moderate complexity/risk Establish and nurture customer relationships by displaying product knowledge, actively listening to customer needs and engaging in conversation to identify additional needs and offer solutions or partner referrals Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight features and benefits that support customers through life events, save time and money, and exceed expectations Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively support customer assessments, identify solutions and lead-focused outbound sales activities Independently resolve customer issues and problems, escalating when necessary Build working relationships with customers and explain detailed or complex information Participate in customer outreach, servicing and advisory activities to deliver on the bank’s service promises Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate the application intake Maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) Education & Experience

HS Diploma or GED 1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, military experience (preferred) Teller experience preferred Must be able to complete teller training upon hire to take customer transactions Demonstrated ability to engage customers while educating them on products and services (preferred) Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear and consistent Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines Sound judgment in decision making and effective problem solving Proficient in Microsoft Office Notary License (Preferred) Customer Accountabilities

Delivers a legendary customer experience by helping customers, building relationships, and delivering service and advice Understands and supports the bank's customer service strategy; delivers end-to-end advisory for customers Acts as a customer advocate, providing resolution, proactive tips and insights on saving time and money Conducts lobby leadership by guiding customer flow and discovering initial needs Educates customers on self-service options and digital channels that fit their banking preferences May act as a point of escalation for customer questions or concerns May perform teller transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation Considers the impact of decisions on TD, its customers and stakeholders Represents the brand both internally and externally Engages with clients about transaction needs and promotes self-service channels Turn each banking interaction into a personalized experience Shareholder & Employee Accountabilities

Ensures compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) to minimize risk Participates in daily operations in alignment with TD’s risk framework Applies operating policies and procedures; completes business processes accurately and on time Escalates non-standard or high-risk transactions as necessary Ensures documentation reflects client/business intentions and complies with rules/regulations Performs due diligence to support accuracy of customer transactions Complies with Bank Code of Conduct and TD’s risk controls Supports operational excellence and quality standards Fosters a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with TD's culture OCC Language

Position falls within the definitions of Loan Originator under Regulation Z and Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act; eligible for employment under these standards Eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS Requires satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report, and related disclosures as required by federal law Physical Requirements
