Assist the service department with telephone calls and communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, while striving to minimize hold times. Take thorough messages with caller’s name, company (if applicable), time, and message; communicate messages to appropriate parties in a timely manner. Make daily appointment schedule available to all service advisors and monitor to prevent over-booking. Provide the service department with a list of daily appointments and pull service files; run vehicle identification number status for the next day’s business. Assist the service department with other duties as time allows and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and provide appointment confirmations the day before; initiate missed appointment calls 90 minutes after scheduled time. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude; keep the work area neat and clean. Complete additional tasks as directed. Qualifications
Driver’s License Clean DMV High School Diploma or Equivalent Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; excellent verbal/written communication skills. Professional personal appearance. Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards. Other Qualifications
Maintain manufacturer required certification level. Understand and follow work rules and procedures; participate in performance management. Know and understand federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business. Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale; uphold confidentiality policies and agreements. Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Physical Requirements
Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas; sit, stand, and walk regularly; bend, twist, and stoop infrequently; kneel or squat infrequently. Lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.; infrequent overhead reaching or lifting; repetitive hand/finger movements; grasping with hands infrequently. General Expectations
Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction; attend meetings as required; follow company rules and procedures. Establish personal performance goals aligned with productivity standards and maintain a follow-up system for assigned projects.
