Position Summary Massabesic High School is seeking a student-centered
Assistant Indoor Track Coach
to support the head coach in developing athletes, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and safe environment. Experience with field events (throws and jumps) or sprints/relays is preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and conducting practices and meets in accordance with MPA and district policies.
Provide guidance in specific events or disciplines.
Supervise athletes during practices, meets, and travel.
Support athlete eligibility and academic progress.
Maintain equipment and facilities.
Promote sportsmanship and personal growth.
Qualifications
Prior high school or collegiate coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of track & field events.
CPR, First Aid, and Concussion certifications (or ability to obtain).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Compensation Stipend position in accordance with district coaching contract.
