The AI and Mental Health: Innovation in Technology Guided Healthcare (AIM HIGH) Laboratory at Dartmouth College is pleased to invite applications to join our exciting and supportive research team for the position of Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator will play a key role in the Suicide Transmission Dynamics on Social Media study. This five-year, NIH-funded trial will use ecological momentary assessment (EMA) and social media data from young adults to model the transmission of suicidal thoughts and behaviors on platforms like Twitter/X and Reddit. The objective is to build predictive models that can identify risk in real-time and lay the groundwork for developing scalable, ethically-grounded digital mental health interventions to prevent suicide. The Research Coordinator (RC) will be an integral member of the team at the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) at Dartmouth College and will work in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Nicholas Jacobson. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Manual of Procedures), coordinating participant recruitment and retention, obtaining participant consent, managing data collection, conducting data quality checks, assisting with manuscript preparation, and coordinating overall project operations. A key responsibility of this role is the active monitoring of incoming participant data for safety, which includes on-call availability for reviewing data, including on nights and weekends. The Research Coordinator will work primarily in an office setting in Lebanon, NH. Responsibilities

Assist with development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Manual of Procedures). Coordinate participant recruitment and retention; obtain participant consent; manage data collection; perform data quality checks. Assist with manuscript preparation and coordinate overall project operations. Actively monitor incoming participant data for safety, including on-call availability to review data (nights and weekends). Maintain study files in accordance with federal regulations and ensure confidentiality and data integrity. Ensure study activities align with IRB-approved protocol and help identify and resolve operational problems. Collaborate with study leadership and attend/present at meetings; support opportunities for publishing lab data. Qualifications

Required Qualifications - Education And Yrs Exp

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

5+ years of experience in psychology, human services, data science, or related field. Experience in health care or human services research. Strong understanding of human subjects research procedures, including IRB submissions and participant recruitment. Meticulous attention to detail; organized, efficient, and able to handle competing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a team member. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field. Experience with research involving suicide, digital health, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), clinical interviewing, or vulnerable populations. Experience with data cleaning and basic analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Python). Department Contacts
