Responsibilities Job Description

Summary:

The Sr. Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the battery manufacturing facility, responsibilities include production, supply chain, maintenance, EH&S, and facilities. This position will report into the General Manager. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in the aviation sector .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Effectively convert confirmed customer orders into cash, while consistently meeting or beating commitments to customers and the corporation in terms of schedule, performance, and COGS

Set strategic goals and KPI’s for safety, operational efficiency, and increased productivity

Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements

Identify, analyze, and sustainably improve operational execution/predictability in those areas that are deemed most critical to maximizing business growth & profitability

Drive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency and support capital projects

Ensure the factory floor is consistently clean, well-organized, and easily understood by those who work here and those who visit

Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop operations staff in ways that create maximum competitive advantage for the business

Be an effective member of the Battery Products management team

Requirements Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable

Seven (7) years related experience overseeing Operations in a Manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing and experience implementing these principles

Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Infor XA is a plus

Proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Compensation Salary Range:

$120,300.00-$160,400.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
