Job Description Summary:

The Sr. Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the battery manufacturing facility, responsible for production, supply chain, maintenance, EH&S, and facilities. This position reports to the General Manager and is critical in driving operational excellence, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in the aviation sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Effectively convert confirmed customer orders into cash, consistently meeting or beating commitments to customers and the corporation in terms of schedule, performance, and COGS.

Set strategic goals and KPIs for safety, operational efficiency, and increased productivity.

Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.

Identify, analyze, and sustainably improve operational execution and predictability in critical areas for maximizing business growth and profitability.

Drive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency and support capital projects.

Ensure the factory floor is consistently clean, well‑organized, and easily understood by employees and visitors.

Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop operations staff to create maximum competitive advantage for the business.

Be an effective member of the Battery Products management team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Seven (7) years related experience overseeing Operations in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing and experience implementing these principles.

Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Infor XA is a plus.

Proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

Salary Range $120,300.00 – $160,400.00

Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
