Senior IoT Solution Architect / Azure IoT Engineer Base pay range: $34.88/hr - $54.50/hr.

A senior

IoT Solution Architect / Azure IoT Engineer

responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing

IoT connectivity and data pipelines

from edge devices to the Azure cloud.

The role combines

hands‑on cloud solutioning ,

architecture review , and

vendor coordination

to ensure scalable, secure, and cost‑effective IoT solutions.

Core Focus Areas

IoT Architecture & Deployment – Build and deploy IoT systems connecting edge devices to Azure.

Secure, high‑performance communication between devices and cloud services.

Best practices for edge‑to‑cloud data flow and IoT network architecture.

Azure Cloud Services – heavy use of Azure IoT Hub, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Enterprise Service Bus.

Integrate scalable storage and analytics using Azure Cosmos DB.

Deploy workloads via Ingress controllers and containerized architectures.

Data & Analytics – Leverage Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics; design end‑to‑end data pipelines for IoT telemetry and operational insights.

Solution Development & Architecture Review – participate in code reviews, architecture validation, and technical leadership; collaborate with offshore teams (e.g., Morocco) to align on standards and ensure delivery quality.

Preferred

Multilingual communication skills (Arabic) are a plus – likely for working with global or Middle Eastern teams.
