Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail with following policies and procedures Very sound technical DB2 Database Administration skills Collaborate with application developers to address a variety of technical database issues and questions Manage multiple priority requests from various enterprise application areas with attention to detail Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines preferred Typically 6-10 years of experience Knowledge of DB2 mainframe environments supporting high availability, resiliency, performance tuning, and problem resolution Ability to use and manage Db2 DBA Utilities Proficiency in SQL tuning and performance problem determination and resolution Knowledge of Db2 Database Recovery scenarios Knowledge of vendor (BMC and Broadcom) SQL Performance and administration tools Location

The base salary and total compensation package are determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefits.
