Description Robert Half is working with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to find an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant. This role is instrumental in supporting the smooth operation of the office while ensuring efficient communication between staff and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to impactful nonprofit work. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to leadership and staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and task coordination.
- Organize, maintain, and update filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure timely delivery of reports and information.
- Manage general office tasks, including ordering supplies, handling mail, and maintaining office equipment relationships.
- Facilitate team meetings and events by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating logistics.
- Assist with donor and volunteer communication, ensuring timely responses and accurate recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with various departments on special projects related to the organization's mission.
- Generate reports and presentations for leadership as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Experience: 2+ years of administrative support experience; nonprofit experience is a strong advantage.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or donor database software).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines accurately.
- Collaborative Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- Passion for Nonprofit Work: Strong alignment with the organization's mission and values.
- Technical Skills: Experience with tools like Canva or website editing systems is a plus.
- Bilingual Skills: Fluency in a second language such as Spanish, Mandarin, or French is preferred.
