Senior Manager-Cloud Solutions Architect leads a team of Data & AI Cloud Solution Architects to enable customers to achieve their goals and outcomes based on Microsoft technology investments. You will drive a team responsible for key infrastructure technologies and concepts such as SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Data Science, and AI/ML. Responsibilities

Hire, onboard, develop, coach, mentor and evaluate Data & AI Architects and Engineers. Set a clear bar for role excellence, collaboration, and delivering impact. Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team of Data Science and AI professionals with a passion for exceeding customer expectations. Demonstrate exceptional cross-team collaboration and communication. Partner with stakeholders to land and drive role clarity, account coverage, project assignment and effective cross-team collaboration. Enable the team to establish customer relationships with executives in Infrastructure roles while building your own relationships; create a comprehensive partnership with the customer throughout their ownership lifecycle to maximize usage. Ensure high-quality production deployments that are resilient and successful. Drive operational excellence, including timely consumption opportunity management and high-quality reporting and insights. Engage with strategic customers as executive sponsor to accelerate Azure adoption and help customers improve their infrastructure posture. Customer Centricity

Lead the team to deliver positive Customer Satisfaction and coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners, leveraging domain expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes. Coach the team to provide feedback and insights from customers/partners to relevant Microsoft teams to enable continuous improvement. Business Impact

Manage the consumption business of Solutions and Support to achieve business goals and deliver customer value. Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success by engaging with technical decision makers to show Microsofts security value proposition and value from Microsoft technology. Accelerate resolution of customer blockers by guiding the team to address issues blocking go-live and leading technical conversations with customers while following Microsoft best practices and policies. People Leadership

Model our culture and values by leading the team through change and helping them understand the business model and role changes. Coach the team on driving customer outcomes and continuous learning. Support skills and capability development, ensuring the right mix of talents to achieve business goals. Technical Leadership

Foster a self-learning mindset and align individual and team skilling with customer success goals. Accelerate customer outcomes by engaging with relevant communities, contributing to IP, and sharing learnings to accelerate transformation. Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 6+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. Experience mapping customer needs to technical solutions. Technical understanding of the security industry and competitive solutions. Certification in one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Azure technologies, or AI certifications. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in relevant fields with 8+ years of experience, or Masters Degree with 6+ years, in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, architecture, or equivalent experience. 4+ years in a customer-facing role and 4+ years leading technical projects, teams, or functions. Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) or security. 3+ years people management experience (e.g., managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, or technical architect managers). Experience in Data Science, AI/ML and related technologies such as Data Center migrations, Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Networking. 2+ years experience driving change management or technical adoption. Demonstrated technical leadership and coaching experience. Security and Other Requirements

Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance required. Must meet Microsoft, customer and government security screening requirements. Clearance verification may be required prior to offer of employment. Microsoft Cloud Background Check required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship verification is required due to legal restrictions for certain government work. Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. A different range may apply by location (San Francisco Bay Area and NYC metro).
