WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure‑track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Chemistry, effective July 1, 2026. The position is within the Department of Chemistry and will teach courses in inorganic chemistry at the graduate and undergraduate level, conduct research, serve the department and university, and contribute to community outreach.
Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry is required.
Ability to teach inorganic chemistry courses.
Experience or potential to develop an externally funded, nationally recognized research program in synthetic inorganic chemistry involving undergraduate and graduate students.

Position Summary The individual will teach inorganic chemistry courses, engage in scholarly activities, participate in departmental, college, and university service, and support the university’s community outreach efforts.
