The Video Monitoring Sales Consultant will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Video Monitoring Sales Consultant is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Under the general direction of the Branch Manager, the Sales Consultant is directly responsible for securing new business and managing relationships with new & existing clients/customers. He/she is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quotas/goals, maintaining a continuous prospecting system, and maintaining current knowledge of all products, services, and marketing/sales skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for calling on existing customers to increase market share and produce a maximum amount of profitable new account sales.

Responsible for closing long-term recurring revenue contracts and selling mid to large-scale commercial integrated systems with clients.

Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads and is responsible for achieving sales goals.

Generates client proposals and presentations.

Meets with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance for all aspects of our product and service offerings.

Inspection of all work in progress after rough-in and trim-out for quality control purposes.

Maintain working knowledge of all relevant developments in the field.

Uses all available resources (Referrals, Route Leads, Phone Day, Cold Calls, etc.) and maintains an ongoing prospecting activity and system to identify and contact new prospects for expanding the prospect base within the assigned territory.

Complete and submit weekly progress reports of contacts made, work progress status, mileage reimbursement, etc., as required.

Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education & Qualification

Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with emphasis on new account acquisition.

Knowledge of CCTV and Video Monitoring.

Previous experience with Audio/Video technologies and electronics sales, video monitoring sales or generally relevant experiences preferred.

Other Duties

Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to travel.
