*Overview:* Roots Rehab is a pediatric occupational therapy clinic that believes in nurturing the whole child by supporting their sensory, emotional, and developmental needs through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of the children we serve.

*Core Responsibilities:*

* Deliver high-quality, client-centered OT treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. * Implement individualized treatment plans using play-based, sensory-integrative, and developmentally appropriate approaches. * Provide services in a variety of settings including clinic, home, and community environments when applicable. * Support children in developing skills related to self-regulation, sensory processing, fine/gross motor coordination, executive functioning, and activities of daily living. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and collaboration on progress notes in accordance with clinic standards. * Communicate effectively with supervising OT, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and support family-centered goals. * Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by participating in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and clinic-wide initiatives. * Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging therapy space that reflects our values of creativity, respect, and inclusion.

*Preferred Experience and Qualifications:*

* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. * Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a COTA in the state of Montana. * CPR certified (or willing to obtain upon hire). * 1+ years of pediatric experience preferred, but not required. * Strong understanding of sensory integration, child development, and therapeutic use of play. * Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. * Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for working with children and families. * Commitment to trauma-informed care and willingness to learn and grow in line with Roots Rehabs mission.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 40 per week
