A growing pediatric therapy program is seeking a
licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
to provide early-intervention services for children with autism and developmental delays. This role is ideal for an OT who enjoys
play-based treatment, sensory integration, feeding, and functional skill building
within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities Conduct OT evaluations and re-evaluations for children ages 2–7 Provide
individual and group therapy sessions
focused on sensory, fine motor, visual motor, feeding, and self-help skills Create child-led, play-based treatment activities Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, PTs, and educators in an interdisciplinary model Offer parent support and coaching Maintain accurate documentation, daily notes, evaluation reports, and billing records Support staff with OT-related concerns and help maintain communication with families Participate in team meetings, training, and program improvement Supervise OT students and COTAs/OTAs as needed
Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications Licensed
Occupational Therapist (OT)
in Missouri Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy 1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred Experience with autism, sensory processing, feeding, and developmental delays Enjoys play-based therapy and working with young children Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs during sessions CPR certification or the ability to obtain Strong teamwork, communication, and professionalism
