Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym, Arcadia, CA
We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of sensory, motor, and developmental needs. While feeding experience is not required, it is a valuable asset and highly encouraged. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, motivated to create engaging therapy sessions, and committed to supporting both the child and their family.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify sensory, fine motor, and functional skill deficits.
Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on assessment findings and family input.
Provide hands‑on, play‑based therapy sessions that address each child’s unique developmental and sensory‑processing needs.
Incorporate fun, child‑centered approaches to boost engagement and enhance progress.
Feeding Therapy: If experienced or interested, support children with feeding challenges by addressing sensory and oral‑motor skills.
Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and strategies to reinforce skills at home.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech, physical therapy) for comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Adhere to state and federal regulations, clinic policies and ethical standards.
Professional Development
Stay updated on the latest research, tools, and methods in pediatric occupational therapy.
Participate in team meetings, mentorship opportunities, and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure.
Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotations, internships, or professional roles) is preferred.
Feeding therapy experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on family‑centered care.
Ability to adapt and be creative in therapy sessions.
Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Flexible Pay Rates
In‑clinic and Telehealth sessions are paid at a competitive base rate.
In‑home therapy commands a higher pay rate to account for travel and additional time requirements.

Therapists are not required to offer in‑home therapy; opportunities are available for those interested in diversifying their caseload and increasing earnings.
