Overview
United Legwear & Apparel Co. is looking for a dedicated Floor Manager to support and supervise the general operations of the store team at the Bloomingdale’s concession. The Floor Manager’s duties include assisting customers, ensuring prompt resolution of client inquiries, distributing tasks to the team, and monitoring team members’ performance. The ideal candidate will be motivated to oversee KPI performance, adapt to sales trends, and demonstrate strong leadership. The Floor Manager will also support the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager at the relevant location. Essential Functions (including but not limited to)

Work with integrity and respect for others; promote excellent team participation and ensure the location is presented to the highest standards. Take ownership of personal learning to enhance development and positively impact the team and location. Champion Ted’s trainings and standards in your location. Develop others, monitor and evaluate performance, and highlight observations to management. Demonstrate personal motivation to inspire and drive the team. Instruct others and adapt to differing people and situations. Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members. Develop strategic partnerships and maintain productive relationships with host store partners.
Product
Use tools to stay up to date on current product details (Called, Color, Composition, Cost, Care, Cut—the 6 C’s). Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including key trends and location bestsellers, to educate team and maximize sales and loyalty. Support merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures, and housekeeping standards to represent the brand at the highest level. Understand stock routines, stock types, stock holding, and stock management; liaise with managers to keep floors driven commercially.
Commercial
Maximize sales by ensuring the team delivers Ted’s trainings with enthusiasm and consistency. Demonstrate understanding of local customer profiles and shopping behaviors to deliver an effective sales environment. Know location performance to support the achievement of plans and KPIs. Drive the team to achieve location performance plans and promote brand promotions and campaigns. Support clienteling and database building activities. Maintain commercial awareness of competitors and local markets and communicate findings to management. Assist with managing controllable elements of the store’s profit and loss budgets. Analyze tools to identify opportunities to positively impact location performance.
Operations
In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, lead daily operations. Delegate tasks correctly and on time, following company policy; communicate with the management team and report issues. Adhere to health and safety procedures and report unsafe conditions. Follow loss prevention measures and protect company assets by reporting misuse or theft. Handle cash and banking procedures accurately and resolve discrepancies as a priority. Support management in executing all other communications and directives.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience as a Floor Supervisor/Keyholder or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies. Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management. Passion for fashion and the Ted Baker brand. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Physical Demands And Working Conditions

In this role, employees are regularly expected to walk and stand for extended periods, use hands for handling and manipulating products and systems, and engage in regular communication with customers and staff. The role may include stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 40 pounds is required. Vision abilities for close and distance viewing related to electronic systems and products are also required. Working conditions may require flexibility in pace and activity level.
