Position Details
Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Grade Levels: Early Childhood, paid mileage between locations Compensation: Starting at $47/hour (commensurate with experience) Location: 100% On-Site Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 for full-time staff (start work by December 19th and get paid before the holidays). Ask for details! Pay considerations: Competitive pay, including non-taxable pay for providers living over 50 miles from the district Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support students' communication goals Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities to promote development Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Current ASHA certification required Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric SLP Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology (preferred) Benefits
