We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance, with the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Location and Work Mode
Location: New York City, United States Work Mode: Work From Office Role: Accountant What You’ll Do
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations Analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities Ensure confidentiality of financial information and company data What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles Familiarity with W-2 and 1099 reporting requirements 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or multi-entity environments Proven track record in month-end and year-end close processes Hands-on experience with general ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations Background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ready to make an impact?
