Senior Manager - Power & Utilities: Energy Optimization – TSD - Tech Consulting The role of an Energy Optimization Senior Manager is to lead consulting services to Power & Utilities clients implementing digital grid programs, capabilities, and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) that increase value and efficiency. Your Key Responsibilities Lead consulting engagements that solve complex issues in the Power & Utilities industry Successfully manage engagements’ time and budgets Communicate complex messages and implement difficult decisions while building and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships Maximize operational efficiencies on engagements Monitor service quality in respect of client requirements, review project plans, and guide other executives in their implementation Provide strategic and relevant insight, anticipating client needs Build and maintain appropriate client relationships and leverage them to execute work effectively Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance client service delivery Develop account plans and coordinate delivery of a range of service offerings, mobilizing the right resources for consistent quality Participate in new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions Stay current with the latest industry trends to act as a trusted advisor/subject‑matter expert for clients Build strong teams and help resources grow their careers Develop an inclusive culture with timely, authentic feedback and coaching Mentor, coach, and counsel team members Skills And Attributes For Success Industry knowledge of our clients’ business and competitors Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex relationships, leveraging differences between teams and providing coaching and feedback Adaptability to varied cultural and personal styles for effective collaboration Capacity to identify gaps in team knowledge, initiate strategies to fill them, and stay abreast of new methodologies, tools, and technologies Ability to evaluate new ideas, technologies, or external products to expand EY capabilities Passion for promoting EY strategy, services and values To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field Minimum 10 years of related work experience or a graduate degree and 8 years of related work experience Minimum 10 years of experience delivering consulting services to Power & Utilities clients Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics, and business development Flexibility to work across consulting services if needed Proven experience in Transmission, Distribution, Generation, Regulatory, Customer, AMI, ADMS, OMS, DMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, or GIS implementation Willingness to manage significant travel Valid driver’s license Ideally, you’ll also have Experience with business development What We Offer You Comprehensive compensation and benefits package including base salary, medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off Hybrid work model with 40‑60% in‑person expectation as appropriate Flexible vacation policy and EY Paid Holidays, including winter/summer breaks, personal/family care, and other leaves of absence EY accepts applications for this position on an on‑going basis.
