degreed Mechanical Engineer
with hands‑on experience in rocket propulsion systems. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about designing, testing, and improving propulsion hardware in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and test mechanical systems related to rocket engines and launch vehicle components.
Lead mechanical design efforts for propulsion systems, fluid systems, and related structures.
Develop and validate CAD models, technical drawings, and design documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including propulsion, manufacturing, and test engineering.
Support engine integration and testing, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
Minimum
5 years of relevant mechanical design or test experience
in aerospace, propulsion, or rocket systems.
Experience with Firefly engines or comparable rocket propulsion systems strongly preferred.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) and FEA tools.
Demonstrated experience with fluid systems, cryogenics, or high‑pressure environments.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
