Position Overview:
Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading Alternative Investment firm. The
Senior Associate, Investor Relations
will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s fundraising, investor communications, and relationship management functions. This role offers high visibility across senior leadership, investment professionals, and external stakeholders, and is ideal for a driven professional with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Key Responsibilities
Prepare fundraising materials, including pitch decks, PPMs, DDQs, case studies, and RFP responses. Assist with the execution and tracking of fundraising campaigns across private equity and credit vessels. Coordinate with legal, compliance, and fund administration teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. Investor Communications & Reporting
Draft and distribute quarterly investor letters, portfolio updates, and other communications. Respond to investor requests including ad-hoc data analysis, portfolio company updates, and performance metrics. Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate investor records and interaction history. Data & Analytics
Manage fund performance models, track key IR metrics (e.g., IRR, MOIC, DPI), and produce customized analytics. Analyze and interpret fund and portfolio company performance to support communication with LPs. Coordinate with finance and investment teams to ensure consistency in performance reporting. Relationship Management
Support senior IR professionals in managing relationships with existing and prospective investors. Organize and coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, annual general meetings (AGMs), and other events. Help maintain a proactive investor engagement strategy, including targeted outreach and follow-ups. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus. 4–6 years of experience in investor relations, private equity, credit, investment banking, or a related field. Strong understanding of private equity and credit strategies, fund structures, and industry trends. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and excellent project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or other CRMs a plus. Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and under tight deadlines Seniority level
